I've been a ZIN™ Member since Feb 2011 and I love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: it's fun! Its hard to stick with exercise you don't enjoy. Zumba classes make it easy! In my classes you can't do it 'wrong'. Its all about having fun and getting exercise. No competitive nonsense allowed! My classes are friendly and welcome a range of abilities. I especially welcome nervous beginners as I know what it is like to brave coming to a class the first time not being sure what to expect or whether you will be able to do it. The classes are also a way to meet new people, and we go out for a meal at least once a year. My Zumba Gold classes are fairly brisk classes but I can show you how to make the moves slower or work at half pace if you need to. If you can walk briskly for about 30mins they will probably be ok for you. There is no jumping or floor work and turns are always optional. My Zumba classes are suitable for ages 14+ and a wide range of ablities whether you are a beginner or have done Zumba before. You can avoid high impact (jumping) moves by using the low impact versions, which I will show you if you need them. Please bring comfortable fitness or stretchy clothes. You may want a layer you can take off as the halls start cool but you are likely to get warm. Trainers or similar are usually suitable. Bring what you have to the first class and I can advise you if they aren't ideal. Bring a water bottle. Water is available at all halls. Got more questions? Please message me or text on 07905375067.
